Jordi Perelló, sInce 1882
For centuries our family was devoted to wine making in the village of Llubí (Majorca) until the phylloxera pest destroyed the European vineyards. Consequently, our ancestors gave up wine making and dedicated themselves to liquor making. In this year of 1882 our House was founded and our liquor production began.
That same year the first consignments of Brandy (at the time known as Cognac), Rum, the Bendito Liquor and many other spirits were produced, among them a dry anisette known at the time as cassalla,
The production remained in Llubí, the wineries were abandoned and two houses were bought, which were our distilleries until 1940. In this year, due to increased demand and a need to expand, new premises were built in Palma. In 1999 we moved again to new facilities in Calvià, custom designed and built for our bodega and distillery.
To this day our liquors are made using a time honoured artisan process, carefully following the traditional recipes of our predecessors.
